Yes the unit will still provide power to your devices as long as you have AC power. If you have a power outage the devices will shut off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The Unit has a bank of outlets providing only regulated and filtered power. A second back of outlets adds the battery backup function for monitors, computers and systems needing uninterrupted power. Only the backup function is diminished or suspended by aged batteries. Even then, the filtered power continues to flow, subject to interruption. I always install a quality high joule rated stand-alone surge protector immediately prior to my battery backup unit. This additionally protects the enhanced protective circuitry of the backup unit from higher rated surges, like close lightning. (I live in Florida.) All surge protection circuits have components which cumulatively diminish surge resistance with exposure/damage. The leading surge protector takes most of that initial damage, significantly extending the life of the following battery backup and surge protection circuity.
