• The output when operated from the battery is Pure Sine Wave. It is also Pure Sine Wave when it is using AC from the plug.

• When the on battery power, the GX1500U will output a pure sine wave. When it is not on battery, the unit simply passes through line power so the quality of power there will vary based on the power provided. Thank you for submitting your question!
