“I have a home backup generator. Will I have any voltage issue if it runs at possibly 63 cycles as opposed to the standard 60 cycles?”

• Hello Bucko, We generally will not recommend these units with a generator unless it is an inverter generator because our units will detect fluctuating cycles as bad power. If the 63 cycles were a solid, constant 63 cycles, there would be no issue but most generators will output fluctuating frequencies. Thank you for submitting your question!

• Bucko, according the manufacturer’s technical specifications for this battery backup device, yes. That is the upper limit of its range.

• If the UPS you choose is pure sinewave technology, the device with correct that issue. the equipment will never know a difference as long as its plugged in.
