Heavy load. Calculate Volt-Amp VA = Volts x Amps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We do not have a unit capable of supporting the load from a 1 hp sump pump. The A1500SP1 is for 1/2 hp sump pumps. Additionally, our UPS systems are not meant for high current appliances such as mini fridges or deep freezers as this voids the warranty, can damage the unit and can be a safety concern. Please feel free to give us a call for more information at (877) 297-6937. Thank you for your review.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty sure I can definitively say no. A one HP pump usually draws about 2000 W. These things are not rated that high. I do use them and I love them, but, I don’t try to run anything with that high of wattage. I do run a deep freezer and refrigerator and they keep them going during power outages. Of course, depending on how much power draw there is depends on how long they run.
