No! It worked for a little while and then I noticed the on /off switch was getting too hot! After a bit I noticed it was starting to smolder, the plastic was over heating! I think it would have started a fire if I had not unplugged it. Apparently the inverter doesn’t reduce the energy sufficiently. I would not recommend using this for a heating pad.

The power inverter you are asking about can run with 100W continuously. If you heating pad is 100W or exceeds 100W, it you will need a power inverter that operates at a wattage greater than the heating pad.

I used it on a 5+ hour road trip with a 180w laptop and while it didn't wow me, it allowed me to work the whole trip (my laptop on battery would have died in about 1.5 hours). If you have a BB near you, might as well try it out and return/return for another product if it doesn't work.
