Hello, This will be dependent on the health of the battery in the vehicle. Due to this factor, there is not a set amount of time that the device can be used for. We do not recommend using a hair dryer with this device as it would overload the devices capabilities. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team at 877-297-6937 and we'd be happy to assist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Keep the unit plugged into the "[cigarette] lighter" (aka: 12v power supply; no vehicle manufacturer actually provides "lighters" anymore), period. No problem on the curling iron, will use about 30 watts of power. As for how long so your vehicle battery doesn't die, well,, that's due to how good of a battery you have, probably a few hours at the least. Do not bother with a hair dryer, it won't work because hair dryers draw too much power which is way over what this is rated for, even if the engine is running; you will definitely blow the internal fuse of this product and probably the relevant fuse for your car. For a fan... yeah, well, most likely not.
