not sure for a cable modem my laptop onlylasted 10 minutes before powre was depleted and it was the only thing plugged in

If you hare running other Items as well you have to buy a bigger unit. I use this on my desktop computers and I have the larger unit on my TV Modem and I have not had to reboot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is listed at doing 260 watts ( full load) for 2 minutes. This would be when new. You would need to know the wattage of your particular modem or router and do the math. Half load was rated at 7 minutes.
