• Hello, The SE450G1 does not have a user replaceable battery. It uses a sealed lead acid battery which has a typical useful life of 3-5 years. This unit also comes with a 3 year warranty from date of purchase to ensure it's useful life. Thank you for submitting your questions!

• Yes you can replace the battery yourself. Batteries last 1 to 2 years maybe more from my experience.
