The ups is rated at 450 watts total, so the total current draw ids app 4 amps at 120 volts. You must add up the current draw of all the devices in your fish tank environment and verify they don’t exceed the limit. The limiting factor is total run tune on battery backup. Regardless of what the manual says this unit is really intended to a pc to quickly back up and save work you’re doing when you have a power outage. In other words it won’t run your tank for longer then 20-30 minutes

The expected battery time for the average computer (~150 watts) on a 450VA would probably be around 20 minutes. It is enough time to safely shut the computer/equipment down. A 1500 might get you around 60 to 90 minutes. My usage of these smaller backups is mainly for cleaning the power before it gets to my expensive devices. I don't know how much power your equipment uses and how much time is needed but it is sounding like you'll need something with a higher capacity.
