• No other settings or switches. Just be aware - only the four outlets under the green light are battery protected. The four outlets on the other side are surge only, and will not work when power is lost.

• I did you open the unit and plug in the battery? The directions were on the yellow sticker on the face of the unit. Make sure you plug it in and let it charge. Make sure you allow it to "power up" before turning on any attached equipment, it will beep if its not ready.
