• It is half and half. The four on the left side (under the light) are surge and battery back up and the four on the right are surge only.

• Hello JSK, The outlets are marked on the unit itself. The SE450G1 has 4 battery and surge protected outlets and 4 surge only outlets. Thank you for submitting your question!

• I believe it is 4 (1 side) that is UPS and surge. The other side is surge only.
