The unit comes in a number of sizes. This smallest one the 450VA is only intended to last a short time - enough for you to shut down your system. Depending how many devices you have plugged into it will effect the time greatly. I purchased mine to cover the time it takes the whole house generator to power up.

It will eventually lose power to the outlets on the unit - beats losing power to or frying the device.

The estimated run time at 100 Watts is 11 minutes and 3 minutes at 200 watts. An estimation would be between 3 and 11 minutes for a typical load from a computer.
