Hello Harry, the runtime of the UPS is going to depend on the amount of load drawn. The SE450G is a 260 watt unit. According to the runtime chart on the CyberPower Systems website, a 200 watt load will provide an estimated 2 minutes of runtime. Thank you for submitting your question!

A modern LCD monitor has very little power draw compared to the old CRT displays. It's the computer that is the larger power user. Depending on the CPU, amount of RAM, video card and number of drives, the computer might only last minutes on this UPS. Here's the stats for my main PC, which is on a slightly larger UPS (675 watts). I have 6 total hard drives (it's a media server), and a quad core CPU. I have two large LCD monitors connected to it as well, all running from the battery side. There's also a couple of very low draw items connected. Looking at the monitor app, I'm seeing about a 20% load on the UPS (bouncing between 68-80 watts), and it's reporting 34 minutes of run time at the current load. So a UPS with around 420 watts should run a bit shorter than that at the same load, or about the same length of time with a lighter load.
