“Can I charge the power trip and use it when my car is not on?”

• Thank you for your question. The PowerTrip 240 Power Inverter does not include any internal batteries , therefore there is no way for the unit to provide power on its own. The unit takes the car's 12 volt DC power and converts it to 120 volt 60 hertz AC power.
