“I want a pc that's great for gaming and video editing which this sounds like it is, but I also need it for general office work. Will I be able to efficiently use PowerPoint, Excel, etc?”

This is a gaming PC.. Therefore it should easily handle any office task you throw at it. Only issue i've noticed is the graphic card fans are a little noisy...just in mine. However, it does not effect the performance.
