• No it is not an I7. It is an AMD Ryzen 3 2300X . Ryzen 3 2300X is a 64-bit quad-core entry-level performance x86 desktop microprocessor. The 2300X operates at a base frequency of 3.5 GHz and supports up to 64 GiB of dual-channel DDR4-2933 memory. Hope this helps. The system runs my sons games fine. He does not have any really demanding or video intensive games. If you do you may want to look at something a bit more elaborate. This computer is a good starter.
