“Brand new purchase. It is all set up and working (as of today) except for the sound. All volumes are at max. I am using a Dell monitor. Does this PC require external speakers?”

• If your monitor has speakers in it, then no. If your monitor doesn't then yes you'll need speakers and an amplifier.
