“Does the DVI port work for this pc at all? I am trying to connect my Monitor using DVI to get 144hz but I am getting no signal. Do I have to do anything to make it work? I’m so frustrated.”

You can’t get 144 hz with a dvi port. You can get up to 60 hz with dvi. With hdmi however you can get up to 120 hz. I would suggest to use the display port cable to get 144hz and above.
