• I can't speak for CyberPower, but generally speaking, if you buy a PC with windows pre-installed, if you switch out components it will give you problems when activating (the pc hardware configuration being different will make activation not go smoothly) I added hard drives from my old PC and had to have MS tech support activate windows for me (which is now easy and can be done online via MS tech chat).
