Is this a better option than building? null

For me it was a better option. But for someone else it might not be. I did price what it would cost to build this PC from scratch using the same components, or very similar, using online sources for the prices. I estimated that I spent $80 more to buy this one than to build it myself. However I saved a lot of time, and there is a 1 year warranty. But that was last week, and prices change all the time. And that was before this PC was on sale for $140 off, as it is now. Building is fun too though. So it really depends on what you want to do.
