When you buy it, is it ready to use once you unbox it? null

Yes, you take it out of the box. Pull the foam packing out from inside the system ( put in to protect components while shipping). Plug it in and fire it up. Of course you have to "set up house" if you will. Building you profile, install or activate apps, load a driver or two for a printer. I had my Adobe suite, MS office, SteamVR and HTC VIVE setup and blasting within a few hours with reasonable network speed. Great box.
