The motherboard on the PC is able to support an AMD FX-8350 if you decide to purchase and install that yourself.   • QuestionWhat type of power supply does this have, I've heard that cyberpower pc's have really bad power supplies. I don't know if I should upgrade, if I should, what to upgrade to.

These are typically related to graphics cards that are upgraded in which a more powerful power supply was needed and more common on the lower end budget PC that are configured with a lower wattage power supply.   • QuestionPeople are saying a lot that "Bottlenecking" is a issue on these type of machines but i look up youtube videos on it and the community on it is split and i really want to know because it would be a little more expensive because the motherboard is only amd

    • Answer PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS SAYIN A LOT OF EVERYTHING. CHANCES ARE, THE PEOPLE BASHING IT OR CLAIMING IT BOTTLENECKS ARE YOUR INTEL FAN BOYS (OR GIRLS IF YOU PLEASE) WHO DONT EVEN GIVE IT A CHANCE. YOU REALLY DO NEED TO JUST LEARN THINGS FOR YOURSELF SOMETIMES. PLUS IF YOUR NOT SATISIFYED THEN TAKE IT BACK. ASIDE FROM A LITTLE TIME YOU'LL HAVE NO LOSS. I BOUGHT AN HP LAPTOP WHICH HAS AN I5 WITH AN AMD R7 GPU, AND I BOUGHT A LENOVO LAPTOP WITH AN AMD 8800P AND A R9 385X (EVEN THOUGH THE GPU IS ADVERTISED AS A R9 380) AND THEY BOTH PREFORMED VERY WELL DESPITE PEOPLES CLAIMS OF BOTTLENECKING OR HAVING TO REDUCE THE SETTINGS SO LOW TO PLAY IT. DOES MY LENOVO GAMMING LAPTOP COMPETE WITH A SIMILAR MODEL EQUIPTED WITH AN I7 6700K AND A GTX 980? OF COURSE NOT, HOWEVER I ASSURE YOU IT HOLDS ITS OWN QUITE WELL AGAINST DUEL CORE I7 MODELS WITH GTX 970 AND SMASHES MY OLDER LAPTOP WITH AN I5 AND A GTX 960. MY POINT IS HAD I LISTENED TO EVERYONE ELSE I WOULD HAVE SPENT A CONSIDERABLE AMMOUNT OF MORE MONEY FOR THE GAMES I/WE PLAY. THOSE GAMES BEING WITCHER, SKYRIM (EVEN THOUGH I MUST ADMIT 2 HAVING TO BACK OFF ON SETTINGS WITH SKYRIM), AND SOME OTHER CURRENT GAMES AS OF 4TH Q 16.

  • QuestionDo I need to buy speakers? There is no sound . Only when I put in headphones is there soud

    • Answer Speakers aren't in your computer. The sound comes through your monitor. If your monitor doesn't have any speakers or isn't sound compatible, there won't be any sound. Since monitors usually don't have speakers, you'd have to buy computer speakers and hook them up. Or a sound bar. Soundbars work good.
