if by capturing you mean like recording software ex. bandicam, then yes most pcs are good but you should expect lower fps when recording, say now you get average 60 fps on a game it may drop to 20-30 while recording. Editing most pcs are capable of editing and this one is certainly good, may take a while for like videos to render but that should be expected from all computers. External capture card any pcs good.
