“How Do I get a microphone to start working with this computer for gaming?”

• I have this PC and to get my gaming headset's mic to work I had to "set up a microphone" inside Windows. The troubleshooter said that I had to make my headset mic the default mic. It's working now.

• If you are using a headset please make sure the audio and mid are split and use their own respective audio jack. The computer does not accept one single cable for both Headset audio & Mic. • You need a split cable which is one where there is 2 chords, one for audio and one for microphone.
