The same thing happened to me. I tried everything to fix it, nothing worked. I eventually took it back to best buy for help, and they said there was a faulty part inside the computer. They took that one back and sent me a new computer. Maybe thats the case for you.

Please make sure you are connecting your monitor directly to the graphics card which is below the audio ports on the PC. If you are connecting it to the motherboard's integrated graphics ports that will not work as they are automatically disabled when a graphics card in installed in the PC's motherboard.
