the majority of the ports on the back of the PC are part of the motherboard so in most cases you cannot retain the original ports unless the motherboard you intend to install has the same or a similar layout however that shouldn't really matter since majority of the motherboards available for 7th Gen Intel Core processors are similar in that they will generally have a certain number of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, 3 audio ports and an older style PS2 port. Some may include additional USB type C ports and wireless but in general will have a similar set of ports. Please note our warranty covers only the original parts and we recommend to keep the original hardware for the warranty period.
