“can this model run a dual-monitor set-up? if so, how can I get this to work? My second monitor just says no signal, but when I switch the cords to test the new monitor, it works fine and my main display says no signal.”

Yes if you run duel monitors you can run one monitor on HDMI and the other on the regular monitor port
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DVI connector on one monitor and HDMI on the other and configure in windows settings. You could loose performance on gaming so look at the setting closely
