I'm pretty sure that this varies per machine. According to another user, the power supply on mine is an EVGA 600W PSU which is adequate for the machine. So, I think as long as you don't push the supply by drawing more than its rated for and clean out the dust from under and around your case you shouldn't have a problem unless the unit itself is faulty. I've hard good things about EVGA, so fingers crossed.
