A:AnswerThe Lenovo - 520-24ARR is 21 1/2" W x 13 3/4" Tall by 1 " Deep not including the stand, keyboard and mouse.
The Box is 20" tal by 20" Wide and 8" thick so it should fit in most carry ons.
A:AnswerThis advice depends on your motherboard (Mine includes a Gigabyte - ga-ax370m-ds3h)
The system has a PCI-E M.2 Slot, I would use that to put in a new SSD, they're faster, more reliable, and it can be added without removing anything. For the Ram, i would suggest buying 16gb. RAM works faster in pairs. IT's typically not recommended to mix brands. I would pull one of your installed sticks and just buy more of that. I upgraded to 4x 8GB 3200 Vengence RAM right off the bat, and I don't regret it. Well worth the $200.

A:AnswerI upgraded to 32GB of Vengence 3200 Ram right off the bat. I never even booted it up with the included 16gb.
That being said, I haven't had this system bat an eye at anything I've thrown at it. The full Creative Cloud suite, CAD, Maya, and Universe Simulator 2 with some really complex sims (don't laugh, it's a great stress test)
