However, the amount of FPS you receive in-game will vary depending on the resolution and refresh rate of your display, in-game graphics settings, as well as your network connection. It is always recommended that you check the system requirements of the game you would like to play before making your purchase. Here are links for the recommended/minimal requirements for two popular VR headsets https://support.oculus.com/248749509016567/ https://www.vive.com/us/support/vive/category_howto/what-are-the-system-requirements.html Also, if you do not feel like spending money on a new computer, you can always get the Oculus Go or the Oculus Quest. (No PC required for either one meaning you can take it anywhere) At the moment, I have the Oculus quest and plan to get the Oculus Rift S because it's weight is distributed better and you get much better graphics. Although, If you are okay with spending another thousand, I'd recommend the Valve Index.
