Thanks for your questions. Three way is the term to describe 2 switches controlling one fixture. So for this switch to work in a three way switch setup you will need two. These switches do not work on fluorescent lights, and the dimming is not able to be disabled, however this switch is not a dimmer switch just a smart on and off switch. Hope that helps.
