QuestionI have older D-link DCS5020L cameras. I have them on a schedule to record at night BUT the 5020.'s will not allow start time around 9 PM and stop at 7 AM. You cannot schedule over midnight for start & stop, will this model allow over midnight?

QuestionCan notifications be sent to more than one phone? Reason: We are going on a cruise and often there is no coverage, so would like for a neighbor to have access.

- Answer Yes you can see distance or away home as long you can are set up to your home network(Wi-Fi B/G/N). And your mobile network are good and you install the app and you make a drink account. Note: can be pain to setup using android app.keep crashing or stuck on loading.

Questionhow do i use the cloud recording ? have the dlink lite app . It doesn't seem to be an option in the settings. says on the box that it has cloud storage.

- Answer The APP only records to storage on your phone, as far as I can tell. I think the Cloud Storage feature is when you use their website and your online account. At least that is how it worked in the past. My suggestion would be to set up an Online Account and it might give you the option to record to the Cloud via the APP. Good Luck!

QuestionI am not very techy, so forgive the dumb question. 1. I need a camera to record my apartment while I'm away for a few days. 2. I have wi-fi and that's it. 3. Can I watch the video on my cell phone ( not a smart one)? No subscriptions either. Thanks!

- Answer You can watch via the internet on their website and receive alerts by email if they detect motion or noise. But u would need a smart phone to watch by phone . Hope this helps !

- Answer Yes and no. Only the app way of doing things is documented. You can access a stream URL though - you’d need a media player on the machine you’re watching it from and you’d need to forward some ports on your router. I’m doing it now using VLC as the client - but it’s not for the non-inclined, and it’s not really documented anywhere.. So unless you’ve got experience setting up stream sources though your home router, the answer is no.

- Answer Yes. The sound is pretty clear on the recording. If you listen from a mobile device, make sure your sound/ringer is turned on. You can also send the video to email or something and the sound will play.

- Answer With the free 1-day recording save, it will actually save video in the app for any motion or sound activation. Which can then be downloaded.

- Answer The viewing of the camera is done through the DLink app. I had 2 phones simultaneously viewing the cameras so I would say yes.
