Q: Will these cameras work with the dlink DNR 202 recorder?
A: They dun support. I’m trying to link them but according to Snr-202lh list of supported cameras, dcs-8000lh is not in them.
A: I have an Android, I only have 2 cameras, but according to the directions and the app, you can have 4. Works great!
Q: Do you need a computer to set them up , or can you set them up with an iPhone ?
A: You dont need a computer but you do need WiFi.
A: No subscription is required. You can sign on and see what the camera sees anytime. For recording, you get 3 camera and one day cloud recording free, and can upgrade that for a fee.
Q: Can I use this with Blue Iris Software?
A: Not currently, but BI has been asked to look into it (11-14-17).
Q: how is this powered if by battery how long does it last
A: Has a power cord with micro USB port on the back. The cord clicks into the camera for secure connection. Cord length isn't very long, only about 4 feet. No batteries and indoor rated only.
A: This is a good security camera. It records the slightest movement. It has an amazing microphone as well that records sound. You will be able to get notifications and the recording are save . You will need to go to events to view. He can also schedule the times you want the camera to record. You can also download the recording clips.
