The dlink maintenance/settings window is a special app on a windows PC (in a web browser) and depends on the browser to have a particular PLUGIN installed. It will offer to download and install it for you once you get logged in. Use Internet Explorer (I do because I hate edge) to initiate the login. The other browsers cannot use the plugins anymore for security reasons, it got phased out. (Make sure you look for a small popup window where you input your camera login creds, it may be hidden behind your main browser window. Took me awhile to realize this and I am a nerd!)
