A:Answer Yes. I have 3 of these cameras looking out from my window sills. The camera lens fits close to the window glass which reduces reflections greatly. The only drawback is that for night use the outside area to be viewed by the camera must be illuminated. If you use the built in camera leds for night use they will reflect off of the window and back into the camera, making the image unusable. My window sills are narrow, so I made a mounting plate for each of the cameras out of old cds and just hot glued the camera onto them. I then loosened the screws for the window lock, placed the cd between the lock and the window sill and tightened the screws to hold the mounting plate in place.
