Yes. I have 3 of these cameras looking out from my window sills. The camera lens fits close to the window glass which reduces reflections greatly. The only drawback is that for night use the outside area to be viewed by the camera must be illuminated. If you use the built in camera leds for night use they will reflect off of the window and back into the camera, making the image unusable. My window sills are narrow, so I made a mounting plate for each of the cameras out of old cds and just hot glued the camera onto them. I then loosened the screws for the window lock, placed the cd between the lock and the window sill and tightened the screws to hold the mounting plate in place.

I have a street light so I can see at night if you take the infrared off of it you can see without light glaring at you. So if you have a street light you’re going to be able to see a dimly lit area but you’re gonna be able to see at night in the window and you can see great during the day. But again you got to take the infrared off if you’re going to put it in the window to view at night.

Also when it rained in the screen was wet it made visibility very difficult. I took the screen off so I just have the glass and it was fine unless it rained
