It is compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S6. It is relatively easy to install. You only need your phone with internet, Internet wi-fi in your house and a SD card purchased separately if you want to record video(if you don't want to record video you don't really need it). However, you can take pictures with your phone and they will be saved in your phone.

Please try again later.From Quick Install Guide: Minimum Requirements are: 1) Mobile Device (to use mydlink Lite app, which is referenced in rest of set up guide- although I think you COULD set up and access using a PC with Internet connectivity- check with DLink customer support) - iPhone, iPad, or Android smartphone or tablet (check your mobile app's store page for 'mydlink Lite' to see if your device is compatible) 2) Network Device and Service - a wireless router (802.11n/a/c) with Internet service - an e-mail account (required to create a mydlink account needed for setup and registration of device(s))
