Yes it work very well with my iPhone plus and my husband work about five-ten miles away from home and that I am sure of in distant it may reach much much farther. Easy to setup too.

It connects to your WiFi network and gives you local access (within your network) and remote access (from anywhere). I assume DLink provides an App on the Apple Store - The App works flawlessly on My Note 4.

Please try again later.I view the cam on an I-pod touch & samsung tablet via wifi, also on pc from there websight.Range for viewing is the range of your wifi or off sight wifi, I'm sure you can also use your data connection to view from anywere but can't say for sure. ( I don't have a smartphone) I'm guessing it would work for you. The app for for this cam is mydilink lite . Setup is easy. follow the steps provided, One step not mentioned in directions is to refresh app once connection made ( upper right corner of app) . Need fast internet for these cams, I have connection problems using off sight wifi .
