“Is a camera part of this unit or do I have to buy that seperately? I realize additional cameras can be purchased and used with this unit, but is there already one as part of this unit or is it only the means to record several cameras in one place? There may be bundles out there...as I have seen them. However, at the current time the NVR is sold separately (see it range from $75-$100) and you would have to buy up to 4 cameras to connect to y our NVR

Additionally, it does not include a hard drive to record the footage either. it is simply a interface to allow you to connect a USB storage drive and capture the footage based on your settings (continuous or when movement is observed)...
