It should work for what you need. You would place it between the modem and your back room, preferably somewhere that it is within a line of sight between the two points. The worst that can happen is you try it and if it doesn't work, return it to the store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it should. We have a two story modem upstairs with plaster walls. Extender made a big difference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it should. I live in a small back cottage house. My landlords modem is in his big home. I get good wifi in my home and his home. The reason why I bought this extender is because I wasn't getting much bars in my cell phone, which meant I was loosing my incoming calls in my home. Now I get my incoming callls in my home but when I am upstairs in my landlords house, I don't get reception or calls . VERY DISAPPOINTED. I NOW HAVE TO TAKE THE CALLS OUTSIDE MY LANDLORDS HOUSE. I still use mine because it's better than nothing. Maybe , one day they will come out with one that works for cell phones and wifi. Buy it and if it doesn't work, then return it back.
