I am sure you already know this but: 1. Put it as high as possible 2. Have it record on a PC, not just the camera, and to a remote server like Google Drive so if the camera is stolen you will have a video of the theft and hopefully the thief. 3. Buy a dome vandal proof camera. 4. Have a second camera up high that has this camera in view so if someone messes with it, you will have it recorded. 5. If you want a great PC based DVR with lots of features, try Blue IRIS. It is AWESOME. Hope this helps...
