Yes, it can be viewed in a web browser. If you know the local IP address of your camera, you can go to http://ipaddress/dgvideo.cgi and login using the username admin and the password you set during setup. http://admin:(chosen pwd)@(IP Address)/dgvideo.cgi also works to automatically login. This will only work on your local network unless you are familiar with port forwarding, etc.

Please try again later.Yes it can D-link has there own site you create an account for and then each camera you have you create a name for, and it shows up in there for you to view while away from home. I have about 12 cameras from dlink around and inside the house and they all work great remotely. You can even pan and tilt with no problem and some models have 2 way voice.
