I've been checking that myself. Mostly price , however Dacor does come with a 15 year compressor warranty , not sure if Samsung offers that. Another interesting little tidbit is that Samsung now owns Dacor.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had the Samsung of same size but it had an iPad in the right hand door. It quit cooling before 2 years. The ice maker quit after 2 weeks. It took hours on the phone to get the warranty repair man out. He said “I’ll fix it for now but the compressor may stop working again in a year, which was prophetic. So 3 years later it is a giant paperweight with a still working iPad. Since the Dacor has a 15-year compressor warranty we are hoping to have better luck. No iPad on the Dacor so we bought a large iPad that we are hanging in lieu of a cabinet door in our kitchen
