We had the same issue immediately following installation. Because we were using a reverse osmosis filtration in line with the refrigerator our installer suggested that we likely needed a pump to get the pressure needed to deliver the water. After he left, I remembered that there is a small valve located at the base of the unit. I removed the cover, turned the valve and we instantly had water! Both the ice maker and water system have worked flawlessly since.
