QuestionHow long is the plug-in cord? AND, how far does it reach above the fridge from where it connects to the fridge (my outlet is about 1' above the fridge and I want to make sure it will be able to plug-in without moving the outlet. Thanks.

- Answer The power cord on the Dacor 24.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Built-In Refrigerator is approximately 6 feet long, which gives you decent flexibility for installation. The cord typically exits from the lower rear section of the fridge. So if your outlet is about 1 foot above the top of the fridge, the cord should comfortably reach—no need to relocate the outlet in most cases.

QuestionMy Fridge is 2021 production, on the outside it shows the freezer at 0 degrees and the fridge at 37, but inside the fridge it shows 63 degrees !! what could be the problem, and can i fix it myself?

- Answer Your fridge shows 37°F on the display but 63°F inside—likely due to: - Blocked vents ➜ Rearrange items to allow airflow. - Dirty condenser coils ➜ Vacuum them if accessible. - Bad door seal ➜ Check for gaps or wear. - Faulty fan or sensor ➜ Try unplugging for 5 minutes to reset. - Power Cool off ➜ Activate it via the control panel. If these recommendations do not help, it may need a technician—especially if it’s a sensor or compressor issue.

QuestionI have had this refrigerator about 2 years and now the refrigerator door is super slow to close. I actually have to push it to close or it goes so slow that it will stay open about 1/4 of the way. Is there a way to fix this?

QuestionCan you fully access the freezer and remove freezer drawers if the freezer door can only open 90 degrees? It would be installed near a corner that limits how wide you can open the freezer door.

- Answer I had previously a paneled refrigerator before I bought this one. I had hope the same you thought. I had to trash the beautiful caver matching panels. The frig wasn’t designed for the panels. Just the way it was designed. I love the new frig , I got over the panel issue.

QuestionI ordered this but haven’t had it installed yet. I’ve been measuring and re-measuring the space where my existing fridge is. My space is maximum 83.5 inches tall. Do I need open space above the refrigerator for this to work?

- Answer You don't need open space above the refrigerator. We had our cabinets built to the refrigerator install specs (84"). I didn't do the install but you'll want a little space for adjustments of the legs to make perfectly level and for door alignment. If you squeeze in a 83.5" appliance into a 83.5” space there is no adjustment room.
