“Best Buy lists warranty as 1 year, but Danby website says 5. Do you really only get 1 year if purchased through Best and Best and not directly from Danby?”

Hi Smartshopper, Thank you for your question. This unit has a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. You may claim the warranty from the retail store if something happens to the unit with-in one year from the date of purchase. But you don't have to worry if the retailer's warranty is over because you will always have the manufacturers warranty.
