Hello Mike, this model has a step on the bottom where the compressor is located. As per the interior dimensions are Height: 28.5", Width: 18" , Depth: 16.5" (-4" on the bottom for the mentioned step). Also, there are no electronic or cooling coils on the top of the unit, however we need to let you know that any change on the structure of the unit will void the warranty.
