Thank you for your question. The door is designed to hold a 2 liter (67.6 fluid ounce or 0.52 gallon) bottle in the door. The approximate height of a one gallon jug is 10.25 inches and it is approximately 5.5 inches from front to back. The interior dimensions for the unit are 17.48 inches wide by 28.90 inches tall by 16.73 inches deep and as such can accommodate the size of a one gallon jug however you would need to adjust the shelves accordingly.

Depth: 17 inches
Please note that there is a “Step” at the back in the bottom of the unit which reduces the interior height by 9 inches and the distance from the “Step to the front is reduced by 7 inches. The interior will not allow for a 22.5 inch all keg.
