Hi, Thank you for your inquiry Danby DCR044A4BBSL has a thermostat knob for temperature selection. The thicker, darker side of the dial is the coldest setting. The thinner, lighter side of the dial is the warmest setting. To stop the cooling function, turn the control knob to the “0” position. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
