“I have ran CAT6 (blue wire) from a central location (where I want recorder) to every location I want to have a security camera. Can I install the plug on the wire and power cameras and record them with that single wire to the camera from the recorder?”

Thank you for your question. Defender HD DVRs and Cameras are not compatible with Video over CAT6. The cameras include their own RG59 cables in 60 foot lengths with extensions available in 60 and 120 foot lengths for a total length up to 300 feet.
